New Mexico Mineral Investment Co was started in April 1939 by three prominent men of Skiatook, Oklahoma; C. E. Strange, W. G. Phillips and Estol Williams. The first meeting of the incorporators and stockholders was held on April 17th of that year in which the following officers were elected: J. R. Phillips – President, W. G. Phillips – Vice President, Estol Williams – Secretary/Treasurer and R. E. Hughes – Assistant Secretary.  The signed original corporate certificate filing, meeting minutes and by-laws can be seen here.
